Training for Direct Care Staff and
Professionals
We provide education and training for people working in the health
and long-term care field. In addition to the curriculum offered by
the Alzheimer's Learning Institute, we have an annual education
conference that appeals to dementia care leaders, medical and
clinical workers and health care administrators, as well as direct
care staff.
Trainings are delivered by request by individual facilities or
corporations. The Chapter also hosts mini-workshops for direct care
providers such as certified nursing assistants, activities staff and
professionals. Self-study and web-based modules are also available
