Most of us know someone who has been touched by Alzheimer's disease.
While there are no known cures, we can help those families
experiencing the disease and we can continue the research that
offers hope for the future treatment of Alzheimer's. We invite you
to participate with us in a very special evening. The Alzheimer's
Association's Eighth Annual An Evening to Remember
gala dinner and auction will take place on March 15, 2008 at the
Fairmont
Olympic Hotel in Seattle. Tickets for this event may be
reserved by calling 206-363-5500.
The 2008 event will feature dedicated wine and art auctions, a
silent auction including the popular Restaurant Alley, and the
famous Live Auction led by world renowned auctioneers Dick and
Sharon Friel. Event underwriting sponsors are invited to attend a
private VIP reception with celebrities before the event opens to
ticketed guests. Celebrities Jean Smart (Samantha Who?, 24),
Sig Hansen and Larry Hendricks (Deadliest Catch), Brad Goode
and Joyce Taylor (King 5), and others are scheduled to attend. The
2008 Lasting Memory Award Honorees are Scott and Mary Ferguson. We
are delighted to be honoring the commitment and generosity of these
local philanthropists.
Sponsorships
are available to corporations and donors at several price points.
Individual tickets to attend the auction are still just $250 per
person, or $2,500 for a table of ten.
We hope you can attend, and whether you are able to or not, you also
have the opportunity to participate in the auction through our
keepsake Tribute Book. You may include photos, a message, or
something else that has meaning to you. This book is yours to Honor
Someone Special. For specifications on how to create and submit your
page for the Tribute Book, please

The Alzheimer's Association, Western and Central Washington State
Chapter provides support groups, a 24-hour help line, services for
the Latino and African American communities, training and education
for caregivers and healthcare professionals, all at no cost to
individuals in the 23 counties that it serves. The Chapter is also
proud to support several research projects at the local level. A
portion of the money raised during the event's popular
'fund-an-item' portion will go to support local research.
The Alzheimer's Association is fortunate to have Team Photogenic as
their event photographer. After the event, you may view photos from
the auction at
teamphotogenic.com.
