What is the Early Stage Memory Loss Forum? Who should attend?

Our Early Stage Memory Loss Forum is specifically designed for and limited to people who have mild memory loss due to Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias.

Lisa SnyderBack by popular demand, Lisa Snyder, MSW, LCSW, will open the forum with How to Balance Living in the Now with Living in the Future. Lisa will explore common coping themes for persons with early stage dementia and their care partners and discusses strategies for identifying ways to pace oneself in the early stages and build a foundation for teamwork.

Since 1987, Lisa has been a clinical social worker and Director of the Quality of Life Programs at the University of California San Diego's Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer's Disease Research Center where she is internationally recognized for her work in issues of early-stage Alzheimer's.
