PictureEarly Stage Memory Loss Hikes

Co-sponsored by Seattle Parks and Recreation, along with the Alzheimer's Association, two hikes are scheduled for this summer.

The first hike took place on August 1 were the group ventured to the Lowell Riverfront Trial in Everett. Participants enjoyed physical activity, a wonderful opportunity outdoors, and social time over lunch.

On Tuesday, September 11, we'll enjoy a paved, flat trail around Waughop Lake at Fort Steilacoom in Lakewood.

Participants should plan to bring water and a lunch. Those without a care partner to hike with them will be matched with a volunteer hiking partner. Cost is $9.00 per person to offset the cost of transportation. There's no cost if you meet us at the site.

Pre-registration is required before attending. If interested, please contact: Anita Souza, at 800.848.7097, ext. 229, or 206.529.3868.
